Vultures are listed in Peninsular Malaysia's Bird Checklist. This is a Himalayan Griffon. Previously, there have been sightings and birds being rescued from a few sites around the country. Ever since my last record in 2004, I have not heard about this bird, however, many more individual birds have been spotted in Singapore.
