This trip is an introduction to the bird species in Malaysia. We will get to see and take photographs a variety of the species comprising some of the bird families found in Peninsular Malaysia. The habitats that are covered in this 7 days itinerary include lowland forest towards montane forest (Fraser’s Hill is around 1,100m - 1,300m asl). This trip is suitable for birders of all age group and for those who are not able to spend long duration.
Throughout the duration of the trip, we will be looking for birds from various family groups that include kingfisher, broadbill, barbet, woodpecker, trogon, owl, bulbul, babbler, partridge and more.

TROGON: Red-headed Trogon, Scarlet-rumped Trogon, etc.
OWL: Brown Wood Owl, Barred Eagle-Owl, etc.
BULBUL: Red-eyed Bulbul, Black-headed Bulbul, Cinereous Bulbul, Ochraceous Bulbul, Mountain Bulbul, etc.
BABBLER: Grey-throated Babbler, Chestnut-winged Babbler, Sooty-capped Babbler, Fluffy-backed Tit-babbler, etc.
PARTRIDGE & PHEASANT: Malayan Partridge, Ferruginous Partridge, Mountain Peacock-Pheasant
