At one point, we were just talking about Rhinoceros Hornbill and after a few seconds, we saw a pair of the hornbill flying toward us and perched right above the car.

We started our day very early after picking up Greg from hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Arrival at our first destination before sunrise and was greeted with rain up in the highland. Oh well, no choice, we just have to wait until it stop. After the weather clears up, we prepared our gears and walk into the trail towards the birding station to wait for some great lifers (for Greg of course!) From this first station, we managed to add Mountain Peacock-Pheasant, Streaked Spiderhunter, Grey-breasted Spiderhunter, Spectacled Spiderhunter, Rhinoceros Hornbill, and Fire-breasted Flowerpecker into Greg's list. Next in the afternoon, we spent some time in Krau forest and added Sooty-capped Babbler, Black-throated Babbler, Black-and-Yellow Broadbill, Black-and-Red Broadbill, Green Broadbill, Black Magpie, Rufescent Prinia, Banded Kingfisher, and few others before the end of the day.
