During the last garden bird count, I went to my regular site - Putrajaya. Here are some of the birds that I never get tired of watching.

Purple Heron like any other species here are very obliging.

Then a Cattle Egret flew over to a perch near where I was standing allowing me for a few seconds to aim and shoot. After managing to get 3 to 4 shots, the bird flew away.

There were numerous nests of Purple Heron, Grey Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron and Painted Stork on the trees. Several juveniles are sighted nearby.

Here is a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron that perched near where the Cattle Egret was perching a while ago.
